When I was a kid, I'd have sold my grandmother to get my hands on one of these. Hands which shortly thereafter I'd reduce to a pancake-flat mass of splintered bone and squished flesh by catching them between the magnet and something hard it wanted to be close to. This thing is POWERFUL. Seriously, mind your fingers. I'm not even joking. Once it or something ferrous near it decides to move, the SPEED that it moves means you have NO CHANCE of removing your fingers in time. The FORCE with which it will attempt to squash anything in its way will resemble being crushed by a VICE. Having said that, I believe that every competent adult should own one of these before they die, because it is simply mind-blowing. As a natural phenomenon magnetism is already mind-blowing, but the power of this thing takes it to the next level and makes it genuinely, in the true sense of the word, an absolutely awesome thing. Also get yourself a laser before you die. Lasers and magnets. Don't think about it. Just do it. I have not used this item yet, it is a very strong double sided magnet 700 kg. My first magnet was much smaller and still good fun. The 20 meter rope it comes with will be a great addition as my old one was only 10 meters.

We've done a few trips out with this one, all I can say is it's probably gonna to only be good as a backup magnet or for newbies getting into magnet fishing. I don't believe this is strong enough to pull something of worth out of the silt. Numerous occasions we've had something big on the magnet bit just wasn't strong enough to pull it out. You want a magnet capable of dragging the object out which this doesn't do. However saying that if you drop if off a ledge we did pick up a kids scooter which I had to grab before it dropped off back in the water. Overall good for beginners we say.

Once I opened the box it came in and unpacked everything, I put one of the threaded bolts that came with it on the magnet, and it was easy to pull off, and I thought to myself there is no way this is going to pull anything out the water. So I attached the hoop to the magnet and popped my index finger into the hoop to carry it, and as I went to walk outside I walked passed our table we use with metal legs, and I knew then it was really strong, as I got dragged to the table leg with my index finger screaming at me. You get a nice selection of items in the box, the rope is great length ( I have not unpacked it all yet ) and the rope has a carabiner attached to the one end for easy attachment to the magnet. You get a pair of gloves with good grip on them, I have quite large hands and they Stretched to fit me, you also get a container with some thread locker for the threaded hoops you get. And you also get 2 threaded hoops with washers. The magnet itself has 3 threaded holes, one on each side of the disc and one along the outside of the magnet. I have not tried it as yet in any water, that will be the weekend as my kids wanted to try magnet fishing. I'll update once we get back. But so far I have tried it on our table of course, and my kids bikes and it picks those up. From what I have seen so far I can recommend this.

I really like this kit, I assumed that the magnet would be the only thing that is a great quality but I was soon proven wrong. The rope feels really nice and the carabiner is really secure, I've had no issues with either of them withstanding quite strong weights. It's quite a long rope, and the bright colour makes it easy to see at a glance. The gloves were actually quite nice too, they were really stretchy and worked quite well. Only the front is waterproof so your hands do still get wet but they protect you from sharp objects and debris enough. The magnet itself is really strong, to the point that it can be quite difficult to remove things from it. It is double sided, and has two loop options, although I can't really see myself using both of them. The thread locker seemed to work well as the metal loop hasn't unscrewed at all so far. Overall, this is a good kit with everything that you need to try magnet fishing casually. I have just tried it as a hobby but it's quite fun, you can find some interesting things and I've had no issue using this kit so I'm happy with it.

Unfortunately you and I are both gonna have to spend more money to do proper magnet fishing - this was just strong enough to pull out some rusty screws. I was worried that something too powerful might be dangerous for fingers etc but realistically if I want to try magnet fishing properly, I will have to buy something that is strong enough to pull something out of whatever sludge it is likely buried in

Wir haben dieses Produkt zusammen mit meinen Freunden für eine Aktivität gekauft und wirklich viel Spaß gehabt. Zuerst haben wir die 300-kg-Version gekauft, aber sie war ziemlich klein, also haben wir uns für die 700-kg-Version entschieden. Ehrlich gesagt, als ich 700 kg sah, hatte ich einen viel stärkeren Magneten erwartet. Wir haben ein paar Dinge im Fluss gefunden, aber ich kann sagen, dass wir beim Herausziehen der Gegenstände gleichzeitig mit drei Magneten gezogen haben. Ich empfehle, beim Kauf auch einen Haken oder mehrere Magneten zu besorgen, weil normalerweise Dinge draußen nicht besonders schwer sind, aber im Wasser werden sie viel schwerer – vertrau mir. Das Seil ist lang genug und sehr robust. 👍 Ich füge ein paar Fotos von den Dingen hinzu, die wir gefunden haben.
