Strange one to fair. So I've never owned a "fishing" magnet before nor a "HIGH POWERED" magnet. I'm learning as I go with these. First thing I noticed was it came in a thin plastic box and it wasn't sticking to much even though it had a 5 mm foam cushion. For a 100kg + magnet I figured it would at least be drawn to a small metal item? Anyway, I fitted the tie ring and it is all well made etc. Nice size etc. I used my leatherman to secure everything and stupidly tried the magnet on it! It took a fight to detached it let's say lol. I've since worked out that these magnets require a flat contact across the face for full power usage! I bought it to save my back for picking up dropped items in my shed as my health isn't great but my days, I doubt I have the strength to get anything off it haha. If you want this for fishing it's going to work as long as you get a good flat contact. Otherwise I'd scale up for something more "dedicated" like the type with a lever isolator operation. Let's just say if this finds it's way onto our fridge it's staying there but if it lands on a my old bike frame tube, I doubt I'll struggle. Good for my intended use, dropped nuts and bolt, tools etc. For £9 it's a bargain and with better health I can see me buying a bigger one and trying the fishing out in a heart beat!

Die Magneten kamen komplett mit Unterlegscheiben und Schrauben zum Zusammenschrauben an. Schon bei der Entnahme aus der Pappschachtel merkte man, dass die Magneten ordentlich Kraft haben. Ich werde die magnetische Fläche noch mit ganz dünnem Filz bekleben, da ich diese zukünftig an das Blech unseres Campers anbringen möchte (Segeltuch) und der Lack nicht zerkratzt werden soll.
