Very strong magnet, I put on one my my radiator which is heavy metal. I tried to put it out and I managed to pull the full radiator on the floor. Good thi g no leaks. Lol. But strong magnet for the price for sure. Only down part the hook which hold the magnet won't last long and will buy a strong one as surely it will break at some stage !!. Overall very good for beginner and price tag as well.

After getting the magnet out of the box and trying it on various things around the house I must admit I was pretty disappointed , it didn’t seem that strong, more like a 3kg pull rather than a 300kg one. I took it into the garage and my whole opinion changed. I attached it to a steel girder and it was so difficult to remove. Intrigued, I decided to test its true pulling power. Firstly I tried it on a sanding station weighing around 20lb, no problem. Then a workmate XL around 40lb still no problem. Back to the girder, I set up a little rig using a tow rope and one of my own “snap karabiner “. It wouldn’t take my weight ( I weigh 16.5-17st) but it very nearly did. My 14yr old son was swinging around on it no problem. I left the garage pretty impressed. There are some negatives though! I purchased the kit for a little extra. The karabiner supplied in the kit is very cheap and of poor quality, as is the rope and the gloves. If I was to purchase it again I would probably just buy the magnet & get a better quality rope and Karabiner from somewhere else for a couple of quid more. I would also buy a grappling hook.. Overall though it’s a great starter magnet for my son to start his new hobby.

Impressed by strength of magnet. Iron filings get stuck in groove so suggest putting the magnet into a bag if picking up fine items as cleaning the magnet afterwards is time consuming

The kids loved magnet fishing with this item that's why I've given it 3 stars. Bad point's The strength and lift capability of the magnet isn't strong at all. Can't see this dragging much out bigger than a shoe box. The gloves are a waste of time as they are not waterproof.

I purchased this to combat boredom for my son through the half term due to the British weather. I am very fortunate to live close to lots of waterways. The kit is simple enough to kids to use alone and the magnet itself is not too heavy. My son had no trouble casting it out to the opposite bank of the canal as the rope is very long and is strong enough to drag items and other canal debris the whole way. The magnet is strong enough that we hauled a scaffold pole with lots of reeds along the canal bed. My son was very impressed by how much attention he got from passers by asking what treasures he had found. We have used 3 or 4 times now and its a really fun way to spend some family time together.

✔ Aimant emballé séparément et soigneusement dans de la mousse ; ✘ RAS 📝 Avis / Conseil après l'avoir utilisé : Après avoir vu des vidéos je me suis dit pourquoi pas tester. La corde est longue et surtout le noeud est déjà fait, plutôt que d’en faire un non adapté et perdre l’aimant au fond de l’eau :) J’ai essayé en bord de cours d’eau mais beaucoup de roches donc en tirant ça se coinçait, je suis donc allée dans l’eau, au dessus pour le tirer à la verticale. Ensuite j’ai testé près d’une écluse, j’ai récupéré des hameçons et le problème était que les bords d’écluses sont en métal donc l’aimant se fixait dans le fond. L’endroit le plus approprié est donc au dessus d’un pont (surtout que les gens jettent facilement au dessus des ponts...) ou en bord de canal par exemple lorsque des murs sont droits, on peut ainsi descendre l’aimant bien à la verticale. Enfin, j’ai découvert après quelques jours que la pêche aimant était interdite dans la région Est à cause De zone de guerre passée, donc de nombreux obus sont toujours sous l’eau et n’ont pas explosé. Il faut donc être très prudent si vous le faites ou remonter cela. Le remettre à l’eau sans le toucher et appeler le 17. 👍 Si vous avez trouvé mon commentaire utile, dites le. merci (• ͜ʖ ͡•)
